Use this section of the website to find out information on the type of AREBT memberships that are available. Please select the tab on the left that applies to the form of membership that you are interested in.

 

Associate Fellow (AFAREBT)

The Association has introduced a new level of membership of Associate Fellow.  This title reflects similar titles in other professional organisations.  Qualified members may apply for Associate Fellowship status themselves.  This is not to be confused with Honorary Fellowships.

 

Full Member (MAREBT):

Information on becoming a Full Member of AREBT (applicable for those practising as an REBT Therapist).

Full Member (MAREBT Academic):

Suitably qualified doctoral level (eg PhD/DPsych) researchers and academics in the field can join AREBT as academic members. They are not necessarily practising therapists. This is not an accreditation pathway.

Student Member:

Information on becoming a Student Member of AREBT (applicable for those studying an advanced diploma or MSc in REBT).

​

Associate Member:

Information for people with an interest in REBT who are not practising Therapists.

​

Organisational Member:

For organisations providing training courses in REBT.
